Guests will be taken to a typical Cypriot mountain taverna in fully air-conditioned coaches, where they will enjoy Cyprus hospitality and the specialities of its cuisine. Dinner will be served in the form of a Meze, a very informal way of eating where guests are served a rich array of different hot and cold local dishes. In fact this can consist of 15 to 20 dishes and will be accompanied by local village wine. The journey to Paphos on the southwest coast will enchant you particularly on approaching the legendary birthplace of the goddess of fertility, Aphrodite, at the location known as "Petra tou Romiou". A stop here is without any doubt a must. This has been regarded as the gateway to Paphos for centuries! Paphos founded in 4th century B.C. by the last king of the city kingdom of Palaepaphos thanks to its natural harbour. It soon became the capital of Cyprus during the Hellenistic and Roman periods and is featured on the World Cultural Heritage List of UNESCO since 1980.
You begin your visit in Paphos next to its picturesque harbour, where the residences of the Roman capital were located including that of the Roman Proconsul with their outstanding floor mosaics recounting the stories from Greek Mythology: The House of Dionysos, Aion, Orpheus and the Villa of Theseus. Thereafter, on to the impressive necropolis at the so-called Tombs of the Kings with its most interesting architecture evoking and element of mysticism.

Continue on to the village of Omodhos which is one of the most popular and attractive mountain villages in the Troodos Mountains with its white washed houses and winding cobbled streets all centred around the quaint village square which is dotted with stalls and cafes. Omodhos is very famous for the monastery of Stavros "Holly Cross"The monastery contains old icons, excellent wood carving and other ecclesiastical objects of interest as well as a small National Struggle Museum.
